Urn for Dog’s Ashes

Jen,
We wanted to tell you again just how special your Stuart urn is to the Steele family. You truly captured his essence by placing him atop a mountain gazing happily upward. We will look at this sculpture and imagine him enjoying his favorite pastimes – running, smelling, swimming, hiking and climbing those mountains.
How thoughtful of you to incorporate a place for Stu’s collar – a perfect fit! Even more incisive are the 10 birds representing the ones Peter saw flying high and circling in the sky immediately after Stu’s passing….a symbol of his spirit being free. Some of his ashes will be scattered at all the places he loved, but thanks to you there will always be a certain peace and comfort in the fact that we will know…..”Where’s Stuart”.

Jazzy Tiger Sculpture
Jen,
I want to … let you know that Jasmine absolutely loved her tiger. She was over the moon. She asked me to pack it for her for transport back to Boston, as she didn’t want to ruin it. I was somewhat surprised. I thought I might have to keep it for a couple of years before she appreciated it. I would be happy to do that as I love all my little sculptures.

Dog Portrait in Clay
Oh Jen!
I could not unwrap that well packed box fast enough. It seemed an eternity wading through all those pellets and the bubble wrap. I first got just a small glimpse of the color and knew he would be perfect. When I finally freed him he simply took my breath away, and now I cannot stop gazing into those eyes. I almost asked you if you would send a photo when you finished him. I am so glad I didn’t–even though curiosity was killing me. I loved discovering every inch of him and seeing him for the very first time in person.
I’m not sure what exactly it is about him, but you very much captured the look and spirit of my Kian. I told you in the very beginning, I had debated for a long time about having a sculpture or a painting done of Kian. I made the correct choice-he already has a special place in my heart.
Thank you so much for all your patience and answering all my many questions …The only thing that could have made Kian more perfect and special was to have you deliver him in person. I would love to thank you in person and give you a big hug!
So until you get to Hawaii, consider yourself hugged and know how much I love what you have created for me.
